This is a very classical magic trick and still being used by many magicians: Vanishing a handkerchief.
The handkerchief can be replaced by other objects, like a coin, a chain, a ring, a dollar note etc as long as it can be fitted into the small "cup".
Another idea how to hide the handkerchief. The concept is still the same, hiding it into a small "cup".
